I love testing and quality assurance! Iāve been working in QA for over 20 years and will always be a bug hunter.

Blizzard Entertainment
In February 2022, I started working at my true dream job. I've always loved Blizzard games since I was a kid and after 20 years of working in QA, I was ecstatic to join the Blizzard team as Test Director for the Diablo Franchise. Iām very thankful to be part of the teams that shipped both Diablo Immortal and Diablo IV.

Hogarth / Apple
In September 2019 I started working at Hogarth Worldwide. I oversaw the QA organization with 8 QA Managers, 15 QA Leads, and 150+ different levels of Testers, Engineers, and SDETs. I enjoyed the systems under test, mostly the apple.com website along with numerous Apple retail in-store apps and channel partner projects. I was excited to work with Apple while improving the Hogarth QA department and helping grow the overall business.

Electric Imp
I began working at Electric Imp in February 2015. The main company product and service was an IoT platform allowing anyone to design, develop, ship, and manage their own connected products' lifecycles. The platform under test was complex and the technology learning curve here was a bit steep, but at this point in my career I had over a dozen years experience in all sorts of relevant roles. It was pretty awesome that we had millions of online connected devices running on our platform around the world.

Disney
In 2012 I received a once in a lifetime opportunity. Disney wanted me to work for them at a San Diego studio in the interactive entertainment industry. Disney ended up being an incredible experience and I was fortunate to work with very experienced employees on an awesome game engine platform which other Disney studios used to create, maintain, update, and run their own MMO games.

International Gum
I established International Gum Inc in 2010. This was a formal C corporation providing an online community and web storefront around chewing gum, with user interactions such as unique ranking, scoring systems, and comments. The company also had an optional monthly recurring subscription plan which sent multiple unique packages of gum to user's doors via mail every month. I did everything myself, including: design, development, financials, advertising/marketing, business planning, legal paperwork, and financials.

VeriFone
I started working at Semtek in 2009 as a Senior QA Engineer. This was a nice change of pace since I was mostly in an individual contributor role vs my historic management and leadership roles. It was also a more technical environment than I had worked with in the past. The company provided an end-to-end encryption and decryption service through points of sale terminals, along with customer enterprise apps to view data and key management etc. So overall the work was both challenging and fun. After a year Semtek was acquired by VeriFone and I stayed with VeriFone doing the same role for another couple years.

Experis
I started QA consulting on the side for various companies, including acting as the primary contributor in helping Comsys/Manpower win their first QA contract with Microsoft. It's fun to think about how the QA work I contributed to in 2009 and 2010 turned into a new well establishing division which is still in place today as Experis Game Solutions and employing many people across numerous states.

Mobivity
I started working for CommerceTel as Directory of Quality Assurance and about a year later transitioned to Product Manager, continuing to oversee the QA department. I had a lot of fun learning formalities about product management and project management. The company had a great platform and product, but it was a bit ahead of its time. This was 2007 before mobile campaigns were really a thing, and we had a web portal for companies to create and manage their own custom end-user engagement interactions via SMS and IVR combined.

Sony Interactive Entertainment
For my first real job after college, I started working at Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) as a tester in their quality assurance department. This was a great experience and fun transition from college to the business world and reality. I had the pleasure of working on over 50 unique titles across PS1, PS2, PS3, and PSP. After about 6 years at Sony I was a Supervisor of QA with 13 QA Leads reporting directly to me and 100+ testers as indirect reports.

Various Other Jobs
I had many other jobs throughout high school and college.
My first employment was at a magic shop when I was only 14 years old (regularly presented magic tricks and received payment via store products). In high school I started working at a construction company and learned what true physical labor was all about. During college years I managed a swimming pool, lifeguarded, and taught swim lessons.
After college I was a bartender until summer ended and it was time to look for a better long term career opportunity.
